Apple Harvest
Isn't it surprising how short the summers are as you get older compared with those experienced in childhood ? Pause and brown autumn appears.
We have been harvesting the apples from the tree in our garden. We don't usually get many but this year we have a bumper crop. Is this one of the by-products of global warming ? I say 'we' it was Greg, my son, that did most of the hard work.
Have had some suggestions for recipes for the apples.. cored and baked with sultanas and a little sugar.
