Roulade Anonymous
Hana and Neil came to tea on Saturday. Cooked Coq au Vin....didn't turn out as I would have liked. Concentrated on the veg so much that forgot to thicken and taste the sauce. Really disappointed.
Neil brought along a desert that he had made based on Delia's instructions. I have never suffered an addiction to smoking, drink etc but having tasted Neil's roulade I now have a real problem. It was absolutely delicious. I started yesterday as 10st I am now approaching 11st and think it is time I formed roulade anonymous. The kids are fighting over the last portion. I am wondering how to get my next fix. Invite them over again, ask politely if they do takeaways or just get a sawn off shotgun and demand another slice.
