The Flags

Yesterday went to see "The flags" at the Royal Exchange. It is set on a beach in Ireland manned by 2 less than adequate Lifeguards. The play had some really funny moments particularly when a woman attempts to commit suicide by walking into the sea with a backpack full of stones and the two lifeguards have to attempt resusitation and blind panic consumes them. The set was magnificent....you had to walk across a real shale beach to reach your seat.

This is Father Ted meets Bay Watch.

Shuttlingsloe

Went for a walk up Shuttlingsloe which is called the Matterhorn of Cheshire with Greg yesterday. It was a glorious sunny day and the views were spectacular. We were not the only ones to venture up the hill - the sledgers were out in force to enjoy the remains of last weeks snow.

Came across this strange snow angel as we approached the summit.
